Trope a Day: Cult Colony

Cult Colony: The majority (over 70%) of Outworlds are populated by religious extremists who employed violence against other parahumans in some manner.  Ranging from “evangelism by intimidation” to “parahuman sacrifice”.  After they’re caught the Federal Guard rounds them up and deports them en masse to an uninhabited planet near the border.  Sometimes two or more different cults end up on the same planet on account of slow communication between Guard detachments in different systems.

The Federation’s general idea is that after a few generations they’ll either mellow out or kill themselves off.  Either outcome is acceptable.
